Attorney Richard Van Den Bussche of Crystal Lake, IL; ethical gremlin

The Illinois Supreme Court presented Richard Alan Van Den Bussche with a law license in 1980.

The Disciplinary Commission found Richard guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Advanced a claim he knew was unwarranted under existing law
  2. Asserted a position on client’s behalf he knew would serve merely to harass or maliciously injure another
  3. Engaged in frivolous conduct in pursing sham claims on client’s behalf
  4. Engaged in a conflict of interest regarding two client with adverse positions
  5. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  6. Engaged in conduct tending to bring the legal profession or the courts into disrepute
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Richard by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2013) Richard practices with the Law Offices of Richard A. Van Den Bussche at 455 Coventry Lane in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Warning: Richard does not carry legal malpractice insurance
