Attorney Carmen Chenal of Phoenix; moronic loser

The state of Arizona provided Carmen A. Chenal with a law license in 1944 after he graduated from Arizona State University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Carmen guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  2. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Failed to communicate with clients
  4. Pursued claims she knew or should have known were in bad faith
  5. Knowingly disobeyed a court order
  6. Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law
  7. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  8. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
In one matter, Carmen listed a party as a defendant but did not provide any allegations of wrongdoing against the person in the lawsuit. Carmen also presented claims in a lawsuit that were barred by the statute of limitations.

In a second matter, Carmen applied settlement monies in one collection matter toward the client’s bill in another matter without the clients consent and then failed to file an appeal in the second matter after he agreed to do so.

In a third matter, Carmen paid filing fees to the Maricopa County Superior Court with checks that were returned due to insufficient funds (rubber).

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Carmen by gifting her with a 120-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2013) Carmen is employed by the Arizona State Attorney General’s Office at 1275 West Washington Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
