Attorney Leonidas Condos of Chandler, AZ; ethical dwarf
The state of Arizona presented Leonidas G. Condos with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School in 1977.
The Arizona State Bar found Leonidas guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
Leonidas represented a client in Indiana with regard to an injury claim. Leonidis subsequently settled the clients claim with the liability insurance carrier.
Leonidas then deposited the settlement checks into his trust account; however, $25,000 was required to be held in his account to pay the client’s medical insurance provider. When Leonidas attempted to pay the insurance provider, the checks were returned for insufficient funds.
On at least six (6) occasions, Leonidas’ trust account balance fell below the $25,000 he was required to retain on the client’s behalf.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Leonidas by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. January 2013) Leonidas practices with The Condos Law Office PLC at 1820 East Ray Road in Chandler, Arizona.
