Attorney Edward Crisonino of Westmont, NJ; congenital liar
The state of New Jersey presented Edward Joseph Crisonino with a law license in 1987.
The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Edward guilty of the following misconduct.
Edward was hired by a client in a criminal matter. During his representation of the client, Edward allowed the client’s appeal of his criminal conviction to be dismissed by the Court of Appeals due to his gross negligence in failing to timely file an appellate brief. Edward also failed to take any corrective actions regarding the dismissal of his client’s appeal.
Edward also failed to advise his client of the status of his case and misled his client for two years to believe that the appeal was progressing normally even though he absolutely knew it was dismissed two years earlier.
As a consequent of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics board punished Edward by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. December 2012), Edward practices at 212 Haddon Avenue in Westmont, New Jersey.
