Attorney Thomas Cattani of Closter, NJ; ethical elf

The state of New Jersey presented Thomas Anthony Cattani with a law license in 1988.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Thomas guilty of the following misconduct.

Thomas was found guilty of engaging in a conflict of interest when he borrowed money from a client without first advising the client to seek advice from another attorney. Thomas also failed to obtain written consent from his client regarding the transaction.

This wasn’t Thomas’ 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary suspension for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequent of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics board punished Thomas by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2012), Thomas practices 14 Vervalen Street in Closter, New Jersey.
