Attorney Lisa Hatfield of Knoxville; ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee provided Lisa Belle Hatfield with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from Texas Tech University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Lisa guilty of the following misconduct.

Even though her law license was suspended, Lisa had the chutzpah to continue practicing law. Put simply, she was found guilty of illegally engaging in the Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL). Lisa’s lucky she isn’t residing in California. In California she could have been charged with a felony for such conduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Lisa by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Lisa practices at 400 Main Street in the Knoxville, Tennessee area.
