Attorney C. Michael Arnold of Eugene, OR; immoral loser

The state of Oregon provided C. Michael Arnold with a law license in 2001.

The Oregon State Bar found C. Michael guilty of the following misconduct:

While working as a prosecuting attorney for the City of Florence, C. Michael appearing at a hearing in the prosecution of Melanie Oakley who was charged with driving under the influence (DUI). At the hearing, Melanie pleaded guilty and entered a diversion program. At the same time, C. Michael learned that Melanie was only 18-years-old.

After the hearing, C. Michael contacted Melanie under the guise that he was checking up on her, and suggested that they meet. The next day C. Michael drove Melanie to a restaurant and purchases two glasses of wine for her. Of course C. Michael absolutely knew that Melanie wasn’t old enough to lawfully consume alcohol in Oregon.

Moreover, C. Michael was aware that Oregon Revised Statute 471.410(2) prohibit s anyone, other than a parent or guardian, from selling, giving, or otherwise making available any alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21. Subsequently, C. Michael pleaded guilty to said criminal conduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished C. Michael by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Arnold practices with the Arnold Law Offices at 401 East 10th Avenue in Eugene, Oregon.
