Attorney David Martin of Lakeside, AZ; moron  The state of Arizona presented David J. Martin with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.
The Arizona State Bar found David guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
At one time, David was a partner with Sanford J. Edelman. During that time Edelman handed the personal injury case of Mr. Hallonquist. While preparing for a meeting with some clients, David discovered that the trust account had insufficient funds to pay the clients. David also discovered that someone had forged Mr. Edelman’s signature on a $5,000 check taken out of the trust account checkbook.
When David asked Edelman about this, Edelman told him his was had signed the check without his knowledge or authorization. The notation on the check indicated that it was for attorney fees on the Hallonquist case. For a period of several years, David did not reconcile the trust account, which was his duty as a partner in the firm.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished David by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. December 2012) David practices with David J. Martin PLLC in Lakeside, Arizona.
