Attorney Jeffrey Carr of Bath, OH; certified crook
The state of Ohio presented Jeffrey Alan Carr with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from the University of Akron Law School.
The Akron Bar Association found Jeffrey guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Jeffrey represented a client in a fraud matter, set an hourly fee, and the client paid $6,750. Jeffrey subsequently settled the client’s case for $7,500, but had the chutzpah to bill the client for an additional $7,250.
Jeffrey then instructed that the settlement check be made out to him only, and he then gave the client $250 and retained $6,500 for himself. This meant that Jeffrey demanded and received $13,250 in fee for a settlement of $7,500. This loser is one big time disgusting crook!
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Jeffrey by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 180-day suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Edward.
As we speak (ca. December 2012) Jeffrey practices with Jeffrey A. Carr LPA in Bath, Ohio, which is a suburb of Akron.
