Attorney James Lyons of Ansonia, CT; incompetent Dufus
The state of Connecticut provided James C. Lyons with a law license in 1962.
The Statewide Grievance Committee found Michael guilty of the following misconduct
James was appointed Administrator to administer the estate of the complainant’s deceased father. Over the court three years, the estate had substantial funds in a checking account paying little or no interest.
James failed in his duty to move the estate funds into an interest bearing account. Subsequently, James was fired as the Administrator. As a direct result of James’ gross negligence and incompetence, the estate lost nearly $24,000 in interest it should have realized.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. November 2012) James practices with Lyons Tuccio & Tuccio LLC at 235 Wakeley Avenue in Ansonia, Connecticut.
