Attorney Dennis Hall of Scottsdale; ethical gnome

The state of Arizona presented Dennis L. Hall with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Dennis guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
  1. Commingled client funds with his personal funds
  2. Wrote checks on insufficient account (rubber)
  3. Failed to properly maintain required controls over client trust accounts
  4. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
Over the period of three months, the State Bar received four (4) trust account overdraft (rubber check) notices from Dennis’ bank. Because Attorney Misfits in Arizona are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Dennis was never criminally charged for writing bad checks.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Dennis by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2012) Dennis practices with D. L. Hall Attorney PLLC at 14555 North Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, Arizona.
