Attorney David Wills of Los Angeles; ethical misfit
The state of California provided David Glen Wills with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Southwestern University of California Law School in Los Angeles, which is a 4th tier school dedicated to serving losers that couldn’t get accepted into mainstream schools like UCLA, Pepperdine, USC or Stanford.
The California Bar Court found David guilty of the following misconduct.
David found it acceptable to make court appearances on behalf of at least two clients while his law license was suspended. Put simply, David was guilty of engaging in the unauthorized practice of law which is a felony in California.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 18-month suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to David.
