Attorney Michael Fiandaca of Chicago; ethical misfit

The State of Illinois provided Michael Joseph Fiandaca with a law license in 1991.

Disciplinary Counsel found Leonard guilty of the following misconduct.

While representing his client in a legal matter, Michael notarized the signature of his client’s wife on an affidavit that he then filed in court.

Michael notarized the wife’s signature even though he never met or spoke with the woman and despite the fact she didn’t appear before him when she allegedly signed the court filed document. Furthermore, Michael never took any steps later on to even try and verify the authenticity of the wife’s signature.

Because Attorney Misfits in Illinois are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Michael’s license to act as a notary was never voided.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Michael practices at 6756 North Harlem Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.

Warning: Michael does not carry legal malpractice insurance
