Attorney Casey Bryant of Jacksonville, FL; alcohol/drug abuser

The state of Florida presented Casey Roche Bryant with a law license in 2010 after graduating from Coastal Florida Law School.

The State Bar of Florida found Casey guilty of the following misconduct.

Casey was conditionally admitted to the Florida Bar and placed on probation for four years and six month based on alcohol and substance abuse issues. As a condition of his conditional admittance, Casey was required to strictly comply with a contract he entered into with Florida Lawyers Assistance, Inc. Specifically, Casey was required to check-in Monday through Friday to see if he had been select ed to submit to a test that day to verify his abstinence from the use of alcohol and controlled substances (illegal drugs).

Because he missed several mandatory drug tests, Casey was found guilty of contempt by the Florida Supreme Court.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Casey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2012) Casey practices with the Law Office of Casey Bryant, P.A. at 630 West Adams Street in Jacksonville, Florida.
