The state of California provided Barbara Jean Weiser with a law license in 1988 after she graduated from the University of California at Los Angles (UCLA).
The California Bar Court found Barbara guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, a client’s lawsuit was dismissed because Barbara did not file the complaint before the statute of limitations had expired. You’ve got to be one big time moron to engage in this type of grossly negligent misconduct.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Barbara by gifting her with a stayed 6-month suspension of her law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Bar Court didn’t actually mete out any meaningful punishment to Barbara.
