Attorney Colette Boehmer of Medford, OR; congenital liar

The state of Oregon provided Colette Boehmer with a law license in 1982.

The Oregon State Bar found Colette guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Failed to maintain adequate or accurate records of her lawyer trust account
  2. Wrote checks against insufficient funds (rubber)
  3. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  4. Refused to cooperate with State Bar investigators (Up Yours, said Colette!)
  5. Made materially false statements to State Bar investigators
  6. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  7. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
Disciplinary Counsel asked Colette to provide copies of certain client ledger cards. Subsequently, Colette repeatedly advised Disciplinary Counsel that she had mailed the requested client ledger cards. At the time Colette made those claims, she absolutely knew they were materially false.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Colette by gifting her with a complimentary 60-day suspension of her law license

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Colette practices law at 816 West 8th Street in Medford, Oregon.
