Attorney Anthony Alfero of Ft. Lauderdale; unethical bully
The state of Florida provided Jonathan Anthony Joseph Alfero with a law license in 1986.
The Florida State Bar found Anthony guilty of misconduct on at least two separate occasions as set forth below.
In one matter, Anthony represented the wife in a divorce action. While the case was proceeding, Anthony sent a letter to opposing counsel. The letter provided that if the case wasn’t settled under the terms set forth by Anthony, he made the following threat:
“…to get to the bottom of the fraudulent transfers and everyone involved in defrauding Sonya [Anthony’s client] and t he IRS. I will obtain a transcript of the hearing. I will provide it to the IRS and I will ask them to investigate for me while I continue the Discovery and I will take what decision they make and use it in the Court proceeding.”
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Jonathan by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
In addition, the comedians sitting on the Supreme Court ordered that Anthony attend an Anger Management workshop. An unreliable source indicated that Anthony opted to enroll in a one day workshop at the Charlie Sheen Anger Management Institute located in Beverly Hills, California.
As we speak (ca. November 2012) Anthony practices at 2650 West State Road in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
