Attorney J. Vincent Gonzalez of Scottsdale, AZ; ethical misfit

The state of Arizona presented J. Vincent Gonzalez with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found J. Vincent guilty of engaging in the following misconduct
  1. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  2. Wrote checks without sufficient funds (rubber)
The State Bar received an insufficient funds notice regarding J. Vincent’s trust account, meaning he was writing rubber checks. J. Vincent had the chutzpah to claim that fees paid to him by credit card were mistakenly deposited into his operating account rather than his trust account. As one would expect, the comedians sitting on the State Bar believed J. Vincent’s laughable defense.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished J. Vincent by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) J. Vincent practices at 7001 North Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, Arizona,

Warning: J. Vincent doesn’t carry legal malpractice insurance
