Attorney Gilbert Azafrani of Santa Monica, CA; ethical dwarf

The state of California provided Gilbert S. Azafrani with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Pace University Law School in New York.

The California Bar Court found Gilbert guilty of misconduct on at least three (3) occasions, some of which is set forth below.
  1. Failed to comply with conditions of prior disciplinary order
  2. Failed to return client file to client after being fired
  3. Failed to maintain proper records of client trust accounts
  4. Failed to pay funds owed to clients
  5. Failed to cooperate with Bar investigators (Up Yours, said Gilbert!)
The State Bar previously presented Gilbert with a private reproval on two (2) occasions for engaging in a variety of misconduct. Put simply, Gilbert is a three-peeter!

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Gilbert by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Gilbert practices with the Law Offices Gilbert S. Azafrani at 1725 Oceanfront Walk in Santa Monica, California
