Attorney Allen West of Redondo Beach; convicted ambulance chaser
The state of California provided Allen D. West with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from University of California at Long Beach Law School.
The California Bar Court found Allen guilty of the following misconduct.
Allen was charged with sixteen (16) felony counts of insurance fraud, grand theft and money laundering. He subsequently pleaded guilty to a criminal violation of the Insurance Code for what is called capping, which is the illegal offering or acceptance of inducements for referrals of clients and cases.
In truth, Allen is yet another disgusting ambulance chaser that illegally paid others to chase ambulances on his behalf and provide him with the names of the injured parties.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Allen by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. October 2012) Allen practices with the Law Offices of Allen West at 700 North Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach, California.
