Attorney Andre Beauregard of Dover, DE; ethical misfit

The state of Delaware presented Andre M. Beauregard with a law license in 1991.

The Delaware Supreme court found Andre guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to safeguard client funds
  2. Failed to maintain proper accounting records
  3. Failed to properly supervise office staff
  4. Failed to promptly disburse funds to clients
  5. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  6. Filed sham accounting records
  7. Engaged in gross negligence causing significant damage to clients
As a result of Andre’s gross incompetence in supervising his office staff, $140,000 of client funds were stolen by one of his employees. The thefts took place over a two year period of time. The mere fact that it took Andre two years to discover these thefts is proof positive that he is grossly ignorant.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Andre by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Andre practices with Brown, Shiels & Beauregard, LLC at 108 East Water Street in Dover, Delaware.
