AttorneyJon Wilsnack of Markesan, WI; serial tax scofflaw The state of Wisconsin presented Jon R. Wilsnack with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Marquette University Law School.
The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Jon guilty of the following misconduct.
Jon knowingly failed to file state and federal income tax returns eleven (11) consecutive years. He also failed to pay the taxes he owned during those years.
Jon also failed to respond to numerous communications from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue regarding his failure to file returns and pay taxes he owed. Jon’s response was basically “Up Yours!”
As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme
Court punished Jon by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. As we speak (ca. October 2012) Jon practices at 36 South Bridge Street in Markesan, Wisconsin.
