Attorney James Blask of Milwaukee; convicted bully The state of Wisconsin presented James F. Blask with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from Marquette University Law School.
The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found James guilty of the following misconduct.
James’ misconduct occurred while he was servings as district attorney for Lincoln County. As a consequence of his misconduct, James was removed from offices as DA.
Following a high school basketball game, James complained to a referee about the officiating and then pushed the referee into a wall near a locker room. A criminal complaint was then filed against James for one count of disorderly conduct, one count of obstruction of an officer, and one count of disorderly conduct in connection with an unrelated incident that took place two days earlier. Subsequently, James pleaded guilty of disorderly conduct in exchange for dismissal of the other criminal counts.
The earlier incident involved a 67-year-old man who was leaving the Lincoln County register. The man engaged in a loud confrontation with James, who then placed his hands on the man, attempted to search him, and pushed him backwards with a fist into his chest.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme
Court punished James by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. As we speak (ca. October 2012) James practices with Blask Law Offices at 2045 South 104th Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
