Attorney Maureen Geary of Boston; convicted thief

The state of Massachusetts presented Maureen Geary with a law license in 1995.

The Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers found Maureen guilty of the following misconduct.

The U. S. Attorney’s office in Boston charged Maureen was charged with student loan fraud. She subsequently pleaded guilty in Federal Court was sentenced to a period of home confinement, three years of probation and a fine.

When she applied for her law license in 1995, Maureen did not disclose that she was under investigation by the US Attorney for student loan. This deception allowed her to obtain her law license.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Maureen by gifting her with a complimentary 18-month suspension of her law license.

How comforting for the folks in the Boston area to know that there is yet another convicted felon practicing law compliments of the comedians sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Maureen practices at 15 Knollwood Road in Squantum, Massachusetts, which is a suburb of Boston.
