The state of Delaware presented Carolyn P. Ayres with a law license in 1991.
The Delaware Supreme court found Carolyn guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to file and pay federal, state, and local payroll taxes for five (5) years

Falsely represented to Delaware Supreme Court that she paid federal, state, and local payroll taxes over a 5-year period of time

Concealed failure to pay federal, state and local taxes from Office of Disciplinary Counsel

Refused to provide requested documents to disciplinary investigator (Up Yours, said Carolyn!)

Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)

Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)

Misconduct involved multiple violations

Failed to keep client reasonably informed of status of legal matter

Failed to deposit unearned fees in client trust account

Commingled client funds with personal funds

Failed to take steps to protect client’s interests after being discharged

Engaged in conduct involving deceit and misrepresentation

Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

Engaged in deceptive practices during disciplinary process
As one would suspect, this wasn’t Carolyn’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Carolyn by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license.
As we speak (ca. October 2012) Carolyn practices at 503 West 9th Street in Wilmington, Delaware.
