Attorney Charles Steptowski of St. Louis; ethical misfit

State of Texas presented Charles Dee Steptowski with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Michigan State University of Texas Law School.

A panel of the District 8 Grievance Committee found Charles guilty of the following misconduct.

Charles found it acceptable to engage in the practice of law while his license was suspended. He also failed to comply with the rules mandating that he attend continuing legal education classes.

While his law license was suspended, Charles illegally represented a client in an application to determine heirship in County Court at Law in Bell County, Texas.

As a consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Charles by gifting him with a stayed 180-day suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t punish Charles in any meaningful manner.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Charles practices at 9666 Olive Blvd. in St. Louis, Missouri. Also practices in the Round Rock, Texas area.
