Attorney James Zaczek of Chicago; ethical misfit

The state of Illinois presented James Bertin Zaczek with a law license in 1993.

The Disciplinary Commission found James guilty of misconduct on several occasions.
  1. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  2. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  3. Engaged in conduct tending to bring the legal profession into disrepute
  4. Failed to properly manage client trust account
  5. Failed to promptly deliver property/funds belong to client
  6. Converted client funds to personal use
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished James by gifting him with a complimentary one-year period of probation. In truth, the comedians on the Supreme Court didn’t really mete out any meaningful punishment to James.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) James practices at 311 North Aberdeen Street in Chicago, Illinois.
