Attorney Ernest Wiley, Jr. of Westchester, IL; ethical dwarf

The state of Illinois presented Ernest Eugene Wiley, Jr. with a law license in 1992.

The Disciplinary Commission found Eugene guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Breached fiduciary duty to clients (victims)
  2. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
  3. Failed to keep client reasonably informed of status of legal matter
  4. Charged a clearly excessive fee (cheater/crook)
  5. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  6. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  7. Engaged in conduct tending to bring the legal profession into disrepute (What’s new?)
Ernest’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defenses

Ernest has the chutzpah to defend his misconduct by claiming he suffered from procrastination, disorganization and generally self-defeating behavior. Ernie was able to purchase the so-called opinion of Dr. Stafford Henry to support his laughable defense. Of course the morons on the Supreme Court and Disciplinary Commission bought into Ernie’s BS defense.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Eugene by gifting him with a complimentary 150-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2012) Eugene practices with Ernest Eugene Wiley, Jr. & Associates at 9914 Derby Lane in Westchester, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago.
