Attorney John F. Richardson of Somervile, NJ; convict

The state of New Jersey presented John F. Richardson with a law license in 1968.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found John guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Committed a criminal act
  2. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on his fitness to practice law
  3. Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty and untrustworthiness (What’s new?)
John’s criminal conduct involved him pleading guilty in a federal court to a willful failure to keep and maintain I.R.S. Form 8300, which mandates the reporting of cash payments exceeding $10,000.

As a consequence of his criminal misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

It must be comforting to the good folks in the Trenton area to know that there’s yet another criminal with a law license running amuck thanks to the comedians sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. September 2012) John practices at 64 North Bridge Street in Somerville, New Jersey.
