Attorney Dennis Bayless of Cottonwood, AZ; repeat offender

 
The state of Arizona provided Dennis with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Arizona State University Law School.
 
The Arizona State Bar found Dennis guilty of misconduct on at least 3 occasions as set forth below.
 
Dennis’ 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  1. Failed to communicate settlement offer to client as required by the rules
  2. Failed to provide required discovery to opposing counsel
  3. Failed to appear for court ordered settlement conference on client’s behalf
  4. Failed to advise client of mandatory appearance at settlement conference
  5. Failed to respond to defense counsel’s motion to dismiss client’s case
  6. Failed to advise client of defense counsel’s motion to dismiss client’s case
As a result of Dennis’ gross negligence, misconduct and incompetence, not only was his client’s case dismissed, the court sanctioned his client to the tune of $36,000.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Dennis by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

In this matter, Dennis refused to cooperate with the State Bar investigators (Up Yours, said Dennis!).
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Dennis by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
 
Dennis’ 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 
Dennis was found guilty of practicing law without a license. During the time his license was suspended, he appeared at court hearings and filed numerous motions on behalf of several clients.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Dennis by gifting him with another complimentary censure.
 
As we speak (ca. August 2012) Dennis practices at 1770 East Villa Drive in Cottonwood, Arizona.
