Attorney Nancy Oxfeld of Newark, NJ; serial offender

 
The state of New Jersey provided Nancy I. Oxfeld with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.
 
The Disciplinary Review Board found has found Nancy guilty of misconduct on at least four (4) occasions. The most recent misconduct is as follows:
  1. Gross Neglect
  2. Lack of diligence in representing clients (slacker)
  3. Failed to communicate with clients
  4. Engaged in a pattern of neglect
As a consequence of her most recent misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Nancy by gifting her with a complimentary censure.
 
Nancy’s previous bites at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  1. In 1995 Nancy received a complimentary admonishment for repeatedly failing to respond to a client’s request for information regarding the status of a legal matter
  2. In 2001 Nancy received another complimentary admonishment for engaging in a conflict of interest.
  3. In 2005 Nancy received a complimentary reprimand for a lack of diligence (slacker) regarding two client matters and for failing to respond to clients request for information regarding status of legal matter.
As we speak (ca. August 2012) Nancy practices with Oxfeld Cohen PC at 60 Park Place in Newark, New Jersey.
 
On its self-serving website at www.oxfeldcohen.com there is no mention that Nancy has been repeatedly found guilty of a variety of misconduct. I suppose if Nancy’s misconduct was disclosed it might tend to limit the firms future victim pool.
