Attorney David A. Buck of Spring Hill, FL; ethical elf

The state of Florida presented David Allen Buck with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School.

The Florida Bar found David guilty of the following misconduct..
  1. Engaging in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  2. Failing to maintain minimum client trust account records
  3. Commingling client funds with his personal funds
  4. Engaging in conflicts of interest
  5. Converting client funds to his own person use (crook)
  6. Knowingly assisting another in violating the Code of Professional Conduct
  7. Assisting non-attorney in the unauthorized practice of law
  8. Failing to properly oversee and supervise conduct of office staff
  9. Failed to comply with Florida Bar Rules regulating trust accounts
  10. Acquired ownership interest in client’s property
  11. Knowingly violating a court order
  12. Failed to reasonably consult w/client about means to accomplish client’s objectives
David’s conduct involved the misuse of a client’s trust account to enrich himself and/or members of his staff. In truth, Dave should have been permanently disbarred.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished David by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2012) David practices at 8064 Spring Hill Road in Spring Hill, Florida.
