Attorney Raymond Beitra of Miami Lakes, FL; repeat offender

The state of Florida presented Raymond R. Beitra with a law license in 1992.

The Florida Bar found Raymond guilty of misconduct on several occasions which is addressed below.

Raymond’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 2007

In early 2007, Ms. Magdella Chatoosingh filed a complaint with the Florida Bar against Raymond in his

capacity of KAM Asset Management Corp. During its preliminary investigation, it became clear to the Bar that KAM Asset or its agents participated in a fraudulent mortgage transaction involving Ms. Chatoosingh’s property.

During the course of the investigation Raymond submitted a written response to Ms. Chatoosingh’s complaint. In his June 2008 letter, Raymond claimed he couldn’t be guilty of anything because the mortgage was signed on March 30, 2006 and that he didn’t become involved with KAM until October 2006.

The Bar proved Raymond’s claim he wasn’t involved with KAM as of March 30, 2006 by obtaining copies of the 2007 for Profit Corporation Annual Report shows that as of February 2006 Raymond was the registered agent, as well as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer KAM Asset Management Corp. Moreover, the address listed on the Annual Report was Raymond’s law office.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Raymond by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Raymond by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.
