Attorney Doris Sanders of Crawfordville, FL; disgusting thief 
The state of Florida presented Doris Wellman Sanders with a law license in 1997.
The Florida Bar found John guilty of the following misconduct.
Doris was appointed as the sole trustee of the Revocable Trust of Sylvia Harrup in August 2007. The assets of the trust totaled nearly $1 million. Doris was also attorney in fact for Ms. Harrup pursuant to a durable power of attorney.
In December 2001, Ms. Harrup was declared incapacitated and moved to Eden Springs Nursing Home in Crawfordville, Florida. Doris executed a Deposit and Fee Agreement, as POS and trustee for the Harrup Trust, hiring herself to represent the trust at $200 per hour, including driving time. According to the trust documents, as trustee, Doris could make gifts of Trust property to members of Ms. Harrup’s family.
During the 13 months that Doris served as trustee, she raided the Harrup Trust as follows:
As a consequence of her egregious misconduct, the Surpeme Court ordered that Doris be disbarred. However, because Attorney Misfits in Florida are held to a much lower standard conduct then everyone else, it doesn’t appear that Doris was ever criminally charged for grand theft.
