Attorney Mark Gallegos of Miami; repeat offender

 
The state of Florida presented Mark S. Gallegos with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Georgetown University Law School.
 
The Florida Bar found Mark guilty of misconduct on several occasions as set forth below.
 
Leon’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2009

  1. Failed to respond to Bar investigator inquiries (Up Yours, said Mark!)
  2. Failing to respond to client requests for information
  3. Failed to provide an itemized accounting of fees to client
  4. Failed to respond to client request for refund of unearned fees
  5. Failing to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
Leon’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2011

  1. Failed to pay $2,000 awarded against him in arbitration proceedings
  2. Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law
  3. Failed to respond to Bar investigator inquiries (Up Yours, said Mark!)
  4. Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, deceit, fraud or misrepresentation
Mark also received a complimentary admonishment in 2004 for engaging in a variety of misconduct from the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak (ca. August 2012) Mark practices with Gallegos & Associates LLC at 12651 South Dixie Highway in Miami, Florida.
