Attorney Joseph Mancini of Ft. Pierce, FL; ethical leprechaun

 
The state of Florida presented Joseph John Mancini with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.
 
The Florida Bar found Joseph guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to respond to repeated calls from opposing counsel re: client’s case
  2. Failed to provide requested discovery as required to opposing counsel
  3. Failed to advise opposing counsel of client’s refusal of settlement offer
  4. Failed to appear at court scheduled hearing
  5. Failed to advise client that he had cancelled a court hearing
  6. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
  7. Failed to consult w/client re: means of client’s objectives are to be accomplished
  8. Failed to obtain client’s prior consent re: pending legal matters
  9. Failed to respond to repeated client requests for information
  10. Failed to take actions to reasonably expedite client’s legal matter
  11. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  12. Refused to respond to Bar investigation (Up Yours, said Joe!)
In one matter, Joseph’s gross negligence and incompetence led to his client’s lawsuit being dismissed by the trial court.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Joseph by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. August 2012) Joseph practices with Yates & Mancini LLC at 328 South 2nd Street in Fort Pierce, Florida.
