The state of Ohio presented Richard Todd Ricketts with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Capitol University Law School.
Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Frank guilty of the following misconduct.
Richard was hired by a lady to liquidate the assets of a business owned by her and her now deceased husband. She wanted to make sure that the assets of the business would be sufficient to pay all outstanding loans and that her personal property would be protected from any creditors.
In order to protect two pieces of property the client owned, Richard prepared and recorded to sham mortgages to create the appearance of her indebtedness in order to deceive her creditors. Richard went one step further by creating and filing a false mortgage release on behalf of a creditor that he didn’t even represent.
The investigative panel concluded that despite Richard’s hyperbolic (BS) defenses that he did in fact intentionally create sham mortgage documents for the sole purpose of deceiving his client’s creditors.
As a consequence of his felonious conduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio
Supreme Court punished Albert by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license. In truth, the comics sitting on the Court failed to mete out any real punishment to Dennis.
