Attorney Valerie Colbert-Osamuede of Detroit; liar
Tri-County Hearing Panel #6 of the Attorney Disciplinary Board found Valerie guilty of the following misconduct.

Knowingly made false statement of material fact to a tribunal

Failed to disclose a material fact to a tribunal when required to avoid criminal conduct by client

Illegally obstructed another party’s lawful access to evidence

Failed to fully explain legal matter to allow client to make informed decision re: representation

Failed to render candid advice to client

Failed to seek the lawful objectives of client

Engaged in a conflict of interest

Conduct adversely reflected on her fitness as a lawyer

Knowingly assisted another in violating Rules of Professional Conduct

Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

Engaged in conduct contrary to justice, ethics, honest, or good morals

Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

Conduct adversely reflected on honesty and trustworthiness

Assisted a client in perpetrating a fraudulent act
As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Valerie by gifting her with a 90-day suspension of her law license effective April 26, 2012. This means that Valerie will be able to continue to expand on her future victim pool as of July 27, 2012.
This is just another example of why most Michiganders have total contempt for the manner in which Attorney Misfits are punished by the comedians sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court.
