Attorney Keith M. Morehead of Northbrook, IL; greedy loser  
The state of Illinois presented Keith M. Morehead with a law license in 1977.
The Disciplinary Commission found Keith guilty of the following misconduct.
Keith represented Michelle and Albert Smith for injuries Michelle had sustained in a fall. While the lawsuit was pending, Michelle was killed in an auto accident. Keith never advised the trial court or defense counsel about Michelle’s death. Since the pending lawsuit involved Michlle’s claimed personal injury claims, her death was a significant event.
In a brazen attempt to unjustly enrich himself by concealing Michelle’s death, Keith attended at least 4 separate case management conferences on her behalf even though she was dead. Keith’s greed led him to continue to attempt to settle Michelle’s claim with defense counsel while he concealed her death.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. July 2012) Keith practices with Morehead & Flynn at 5 Revere Drive in Northbrook, Illinois.
