Attorney John Kasaback of Lilly, PA; ethical leprechaun

The state of Pennsylvania provided John with a law license in 1985. .

The Disciplinary Board found Aaron guilty of misconduct:
  1. Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law
  2. Failed to appear at scheduled hearings on client’s behalf
  3. Federal Court issued order prohibiting John from making any further appearances in said court
  4. Sanctioned by Federal Court for failing to appear at hearings and fined $350
  5. Failed to return unearned fees (cheater)
  6. Failed to properly communicate with clients
  7. Failed to inform client of the basis for his fee
  8. Failed to file an appeal on behalf of a client
  9. Failed to explain the scope of his legal representation to client
  10. Failed to promptly reply to client requests for information
  11. Failed to provide clients with written fee agreements
  12. Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests after being discharged
  13. Failed to return client files to client after being fired
It is not lawful for a Pennsylvania attorney to enter into a contingent fee agreement while representing a client in a criminal matter. Johnny thumbed his nose at this prohibition by attempting to charge clients in criminal cases on a contingent fee basis. This conduct is clearly illegal because the client in a criminal case does not stand to collect any monetary damages.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians on the Court didn’t serve up any meaningful punishment to Johnny.

As we speak (ca. July 2012) John practices at 315 Wood Street in Lilly, Pennsylvania.

Caution: John does not carry legal malpractice insurance
