Attorney Kevin Schwartz of Phoenix; repeat offender

The state of Arizona presented Kevin Schwartz with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Kevin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

Kevin’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

The Bar Court found Kevin guilty of not disclosing his knowledge of a third-party’s forged endorsement of another’s name on a settlement check issued by an insurance company to a client of his law firm.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

In this matter, Kevin failed to promptly render a full accounting regarding settlement proceeds to a third party medical lien holder and failed to promptly pay that third party lien holder. Kevin the Dufus had the chutzpah to defend his conduct by claiming he believed he couldn’t reimburse the medical lien holder while a disciplinary matter was pending. It seems as though Kevin missed his calling as a standup comedian.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with yet another complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. July 2012) Kevin practices at 2633 East Indian School Road in Phoenix, Arizona.

Caution: Kevin doesn’t carry any legal malpractice insurance.
