Attorney Walter Moak of Chandler, AZ; ethical misfit

The state of Arizona presented Walter E. Moak with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Walter guilty of engaging in the following misconduct
  1. Failed to disclose information to adverse party as required
  2. Engaged in a conflict of interest by directing his wife to loan money to a client
  3. Improperly acquired a proprietary interest in litigation he was conduct for a client
The State Bar found the following aggravating factors:
  1. Dishonest and selfish motive
  2. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  3. Multiple offenses of misconduct
  4. Bad faith obstruction of the disciplinary process
Walter represented a client involved in two lawsuits arising out of two separate auto accidents that occurred three years apart. In the second case, Walter concealed the injuries his client received from the first accident from opposing counsel. It is obvious that Walter’s sole concern was to enrich himself by failing to disclose relevant evidence that he was required to disclose.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Walter by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2012) Walter practices at 1820 East Ray Road in Chandler, Arizona.
