Attorney Claudia Mirescu of Phoenix; moronic lawbreaker
The state of Arizona presented J. Douglas McVay with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School.
The Arizona State Bar found Claudia guilty of engaging in the following misconduct
Claudia represented a client that was involved in a marriage dissolution case that involved child visitation issues. Claudia counseled/advised her client to unlawfully take the child from the mother in direct violation of a court order.
Because Attorney Misfits in Arizona are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Claudia was never criminally charged for obstruction of justice for counseling her client to break the law.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Claudia by gifting her with a complimentary censure.
