Attorney A. David Zerivitz of Baltimore, MD; ethical misfit

The state of Maryland presented David A. Zerivitz with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed failing to maintain fairness to opposing party and counsel
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to revise proposed order after opposing counsel rejected it
  • Despite opposing counsel’s objections to proposed order, Davey included terms opposing counsel had rejected
  • Failed to take steps to correct his filing or advise the court that his filing did not accurately reflect the parties’ agreement
  • As a result of Davey’s conduct regarding the proposed order, his client incurred additional fees

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Davey practices his so-called brand of law at 100 Church Lane in Baltimore, Maryland.
