Attorney Richard Lafferty of Branford, CT; ethical dwarf

The state of Connecticut provided Richard W. Lafferty with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide client with written fee agreement setting for the scope of representation to be undertaken for the additional $2000 (previously paid $3,000)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. February 2024), Dick practices his so-called brand of law in Branford, Connecticut.
