The state of Florida presented John B. Flynn with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University School of Law.

The Washington state’s Commission on Judicial Conduct has charged Sammy with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Abused the prestige of his judicial office to advance his personal or economic interests or that of others, or allowed others to do so
• Failed to uphold the integrity of the judiciary
• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Engaged in impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to promote the impartiality of the judiciary
• Engaged in a systemic pattern of domestic violence against his former spouse, S.B.
• Sammy’s abuse of his wife occurred over many years and involved repeated acts of physical, emotional, and mental abuse and multiple types of assault
• Engaged in harassing behavior after his romantic relationship with a woman, S.S, had been terminated by S.S.
• Engaged in repeated attempts to contact S.S and resume the relationship, despite her repeated and unambiguous requests to be left alone and for him to stop contacting her
• Abused his power and judicial role to obtain improper access to the Benton County Office of
• Public Defense's office under a fabricated pretext when pursuing S.S. against her express wishes,
• after she left court employment to work at the Office of Public Defense
• Engaged in the unlawful harassment toward a former Franklin County Court employee, S. S., with whom Sammy had a romantic relationship in 2021

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Sammy the Wife Beater by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. January 2024), Sammy continues to dispense his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a judge of the Benton and Franklin Counties Superior Court in Kennewick, Washington.
