Attorney George Miller of Charlotte, NC; ethical elf

The state of North Carolina presented George Miller with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Campbell University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found George guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which involved a client seeking permanent resident status.

  • Did not timely provide necessary documents in response to an audit notification by the Department of Labor
  • Failure to file documents on client’s behalf led to the denial of the client’s permanent resident status application
  • Withdrew from appeal of resident status denial without his client’s knowledge
  • Consistently failed to respond to his client’s reasonable requests for information
  • Failed to keep his client informed about the status of the case

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished George by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, George fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.doziermillerlaw.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2024), George practices his so-called brand of law with The Dozier Miller Group at 525 North Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina.
