Former Judge Najma Mian of Birmingham, UK; ethical troll

The Law Society provided Najma Mian with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from the University of Essex School of Law.

The Lord Chief Justice and with the Lord Chancellor’s agreement found Najma guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Najma’s conduct involved the way she conducted herself in a court case involving a female toddler and the issue of her being adopted while the toddler was being represented by a court-appointed guardian, which is as follows.

• Brought the judiciary into disrepute
• Engaged in impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
• Created a hostile atmosphere during family court hearing
• Alienated everyone who was unfortunate to have been required to appear before her
• Used blasphemous words during hearing
• Stormed out of court in angry manner while hearing was being conducted
• Repeatedly shouted at parties at hearing involving future of the toddler
• During hearing involving the toddler, Najma began to visibly shake with rage
• Najma’s conduct of the hearing of the toddler amounted to a serious procedural irregularity
• Crossed the line regarding her conduct at the hearing involving fate of little toddler
• Engaged in several bouts of sarcasm during court hearings
• Turned her chair away from the court in a display of anger
• Sat with her back to everyone during the hearing
• Mimicked the advocate guardian’s words and attempted to intimidate the guardian

Najma’s decision regarding the toddler regarding her future was overturned after a lawyer complained about her intemperate behavior at a private hearing.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Lord Chancellor and Lord Chief Justice punished Neale by gifting her with complimentary formal warning. It’s my understanding that this type of punishment can be very, very painful, especially if it is delivered live while Najma’s on stage at the Birmingham Adult Fantasyland Strip Club at 131 Corporation Street in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

As we speak (ca. December 2023), Najma practices her so-called brand of law as a Barrister with the St. Ives Chambers at Whittall Street in West Midlands, Birmingham, United Kingdom.
