Attorney Alexander Mulcahy of Natick, MA; ethical dwarf

The state of Massachusetts presented Alexander Walter Mulcahy with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from the Western New England School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Alex guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain all relevant records regarding several real estate transactions
• Failed to maintain individual client ledgers for each client
• Failed to perform required three-way client reconciliation reports every sixty days
• Negligently misused seller’s portion of those funds that created a negative client balance for an individual client
• Failed to deliver client or third-party funds promptly

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Alex by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
