Attorney Sands Chewning of Hopkinsville, KY; ethical dwarf

The state of Kentucky presented Sands Morris Chewning with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Sands guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Used means that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person, or used methods of obtaining evidence that violated the legal rights of such a person

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court punished Sands by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.   

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Sands practices his so-called brand of law with Chewning Law PLLC at 1623 South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
